โœจ Studying in China is a great opportunity for Bangladeshi students. With proper preparation and confidence, the visa process is smooth and stress-free.

๐Ÿ”ฐ Step 1: Online Visa Application Form

  1. Create an account and log in to the China Visa Application Portal.

    • Visa Type: X1 (Student Visa)
    • Entry Type: Single Entry
    • Visa Fee: 6,890 BDT (cash payment)
  2. Click on Start Application and fill in all required details. Upload the necessary documents:

    • Passport-size photo (33ร—48 mm)

    • Passport scan copy

    • JW202/201 Form

    • Admission Notice

    • Bank Statement (only for students without a full scholarship)

โžก๏ธ After submission, download the PDF copy of your application. Your status will show as โ€œUnder Review.โ€

โœ… Once the review is complete, you will receive an email stating: โ€œVideo interview to be scheduled.โ€ You can then select your interview date and time.

๐Ÿ”ฐ Step 2: Embassy Interview Experience

On your scheduled date, visit the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka. The guard will guide you through the process. Take a serial and wait for your turn.

The interview usually takes less than 5 minute with very simple questions such as:

  • Where are you going?

  • Which major will you study?

  • Did you receive a scholarship?

  • Who will fund your studies?

โžก๏ธ Answer confidently and politely. After the interview, your passport will be returned, and you will receive an Approved Mail in PDF format via email.

๐Ÿ”ฐ Step 3: Submitting Passport at Visa Center (Banani)

Once approved, print the PDF and go to the China Visa Application Service Center (Banani, Dhaka):

  • Provide your fingerprints

  • Take a photo

  • Submit required documents

  • Bank Statement (if not on full scholarship)

Optional (but recommended) Documents:

  • Academic certificates

  • Police clearance certificate

  • Medical form

  • Birth Certificate / NID

You will receive a delivery slip mentioning the date to collect your passport.
