The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship is a fully funded program offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support international students pursuing Diploma, Undergraduate, or Master’s degrees at leading Bruneian institutions.
It aims to promote academic excellence, cultural exchange, and global collaboration by providing comprehensive financial support and access to high-quality education in Brunei.

🎁 Scholarship Benefits

• Nationality: Open to applicants worldwide.

• Age :

  • Diploma/Undergraduate: 18–25 years

  • Master’s: Under 35 years

• Academic Requirements:

  • Diploma/Undergraduate: GCE “O” Level, high school diploma, or equivalent

  • Master’s: Relevant bachelor’s degree with strong academic record

• Language Proficiency:

  • GCE “O” Level English Credit 6

  • IGCSE Grade C

  • IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550

  • Malay or Arabic proficiency may be required for specific courses

• Health: Must be in good health (medical check may be required upon arrival)

• Restrictions:

  • No concurrent scholarships without Ministry approval

  • No family members allowed to accompany during the scholarship

  • No paid employment or diplomatic service during the scholarship period

  • Must leave Brunei upon program completion

• 🎓 Certified copies of academic certificates & transcripts.

• 🌐 Certified English translations for non-English documents

• 📜 Proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent)

• 🆔 Certified copies of passport & birth certificate

• 📝 Two Recommendation Letters (C1 & C2 forms from official website)

• 📃 Personal Statement outlining academic & career goals

• 🛡 Security Clearance (if required)

• 🏫 University-specific forms (UBD, UTB, etc., if applicable)

• 📦 All files in PDF, JPG, or Word format, compressed in .zip (max size 10MB)

⏳ Deadline

• Fields of Study: Arts, sciences, engineering, Islamic studies, business, and more (refer to university websites for specifics)

• Selection Process: Academic merit + quality of application; shortlisted candidates may be interviewed or tested

• Language Assessment: If IELTS/TOEFL is not provided, language may be tested during interviews
